Visible Vote allows users to follow their congressmen and vote on bills in congress.  It is a cross platform application with clients for Windows, Mac, iPhone, Facebook, and BlackBerry.  I have written the Android version of the application and am really happy about how it turned out.  The specs were to create an interface similar to the iPhone version of the application, but I have made an application that takes advantage of all the great APIs and flexible layout framework that Android provides.  It is a very good Android citizen using all of the best practices I have picked up since I have been programming for Android.

Some interesting parts of the application include a number of custom layouts, grouped list views, progress bar customization, subtle animation effects, efficient XML parsing, and nicely threaded network access.
